No. You just dont buy that type and you got something called a "snap swivel"

They’re on the back of some of my dodgers. I kind of remember using them in Alaska for my halibut rigging. I think that’s way overkill for casting, but if you want to try them... worst case scenario they’re too heavy for the spoons and screw up the action.

They are meant for fast lure/rig changes . Think ocean where you may not be able to get the bait rig out of a fish fast . So you just untwist it and put on another . Swivel snap is better for our type of fishing.

i had them there are a pain to get the spoon off. some times they misthread and very hard to get off. i have them somewhere they are yours if you want them

Not meant for spoons or plugs . Only work with leader lines . Like changing fly's on our dodgers . That is why you still fined some on flashers/dodgers .
