They are on in South Haven too. Pretty nice average size. I was on them Friday Saturday and Sunday. That side of the lake has been 1 foot or less Thursday looks like 2-3 and hopefully back to calm.

Which one?
Mich City is where were heading tomorrow.
Head west out of the Harbour and you will see the boats.
18 to 30 ft generally does it.
Black ditch, Mt Baldy area. I use the Michigan ave Marina, $10 to launch.
Chiefs bait shop is 5 mins from there on rt 12 coming into Mich City.
I use fat heads but some guys use shiners and the bait shop has them all.
Good luck.

You never know with perch but it doesn't show any big blow so I would guess it won't but you don't know if you don't try.
Its always a good day on the water.
I'm hoping to get out this weekend also.

Marina is Trail Creek Marina, its on Michigan ave.
good luck and always watch the weather.

They were on fire for 45 minutes from 5:20pm to 6:05p last night in 39.3 feet .79 statute mile on on a 27 degree heading north east of the Pavilion at Indiana Dunes National Park. Drifted and drive around for 2.5hrs before I found a school. But then it was game on. They were stopping my rigs before I could get to the bottom. But only on my custom tied rigs with size 5 chartreuse hooks with a pink glow bead. Just go fish... they’re around.

Thank you guys for the reports! Hey "Wallin", do you launch at Trail Creek Marina?
My buddy and I are thinkin' about making a trip. How early do you suggest we be
out on the water? Or is the bite better in the afternoon or evening? Thank You!

Yes I launch out of trail creek.
I fished today and it was my worst day in a month, I got 1 short, my fishing partner got 3 keepers which we released later.
Lots of small fish caught today. Water was perfect, not sure what caused the fish to seperate. No big schools seen like we have been seeing.
Friends got 44 today for 3 guys. They worked hard for them and were on the water before daylight.
Trail Creek Marina doesn't open till 6am.
East of the harbour by the condos has been better than the Black ditch lately. Just look for the back of boats, its been an early bite lately.
good luck

Fished out of Portage this morning- 6 keepers by 9 O’clock at the mouth of the Ditch. Moved east - passed the Donut to where the mill property ends. In 30 feet we caught the balance of the two man limit in two hours. Large school that seemed to wander the area as one boat would be yanking them in and the rest of us wishing. When the school came to us the graph would be full of fish from the bottom up six feet and fast and furious action. Had a streak of eight 11” plus. Best day perching since last December in Cal Harbor !!
