I used Riggs years ago but you will be better off with Little Joe. He is the best.

Just a thought. I have an 18' Crestliner Canadian tiller it is a very simple relatively narrow boat. I called both Riggs and Little Joes both wanted $1000. My last cover was from Riggs in 2010 well built and I enjoyed it but I just could not justify the cost this time around. I have vinyl flooring not carpet and have not trailered covered for some years. I am lucky to have a place to keep it inside in the winter. I will admit to being cheap - tighter than 2 coats of paint at times. I bought a universal type cover from Costco $89 delivered. Their support system was worthless but the cover is working out well. I used PVC pipe a 2" in the front seat base and ordered 'formufit' brand PVC fittings made for PVC furniture as bases and 2 more 1 1/2 PVC uprights. All in right around $100. Interestingly when my wife saw it on the boat she said "I liked the look of your old cover better you should really have what ever you want" - funny you should say that I said I broke a rod and lost a rod and reel over board in Kinkaid Lake last week I guess I better go shopping.

I have had Little Joe make many boat covers for me. He is good at his trade. Word of caution: If you plan on storing the boat outdoors indefinitely, make sure Joe uses thread that will not be dried out by the sun within a few years. The seams will then open up and Joe will have to resew it for you. Just ask Joe which of his threads would prolong the life of your cover.
