I thought about trying Mazonia out...I want target pike, pickerel, gar, striped bass, and catfish. Should I grab a yak or shore's alright? Not looking for spots, but which lake is best for a beginner strip mine lake fisherman? IFishillinois did not provide me with very exciting information....Are there still brown trout there? :thanks

There are no fret ways to do summertime walkabouts to the wayback and get into the shorelines of many many lakes, which seldom see an angler. That can be a treat for a fella looking to get at fish that have no clue what fishing line or fish hooks look like.
As in any kind of fishing we do, we just need the proper gear for it.
