Was on e-pray looking at auger blades, WOW I don't get it. Jiffy Stealth up to $99.00 per set. 6" chipper blades up to $43.00 each. Lazers up to $60.00 per set.

I just don't get it. An increase in gun prices I guess I can kind of understand. Shortage of ammo the price goes up, shortage of gas, the price goes up---but auger blades, come on.

If a hand auger costs $130.00 and the blades are $60.00 WTH.

I guess I should not complain cause I sharpen the blades but rape is rape.

Good, got that off my chest.

Paid that much at Gladstone, MI 4 years ago after "someone" tried to drill in 24" ice over 4" water. About two seconds in the sand and blades done. :?

That's why people should go to fishing flea markets and swap meets. Paid $20 for 2 sets of lazer 6" blades last year at Rolling Meadows.
