Lots of good sushi places around, just had lunch at sushi today in elk grove. I usually get the rolls, had California roll today, I lime eel alot and spicy rolls. a good place by me in Oswego on rt34 behind the red robin. Hard to get a table sometimes.

Todd

I know that place - Sushi Today, work near there 700 Pratt. Wildfish Sushi in Arlington Heights is much better, a little hard to find as it is in a court yard of sorts.
Hummm may have to go there next week.

Palatine's best is Asahi Sushi. Just celebrated their 10th anniversary with the newest owner. http://asahi-palatine.com/

The Kampai in Arlington Heights has a floating sushi bar. The sushi floats by you in a mote style server.

Went to sushi+ by kohls just outside the fox valley mall. Instead of a mote they have an enclosed mechanical track that runs around the place with different dishes, you pay by each plate, each color is a different price. Had 20 pieces of sushi roll for 12.50. Not too bad. Was pretty good especially liked the spicy salmon Maki.

Jurin in South Elgin, and House of Tokyo in St. Charles. Can't go wrong with either place. Jurin has the conveyer, and HOT has the boats in a moat.

Wild fish is great. I travel from the n/w side to eat there. They have the best Sake selection Ive ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Flights of quality Sake are available for those new to the realm of good Sake.

Nice. Anything out south like Orland?

I dont want to sound pissy, but I am leery about midwest sushi. Like getting sushi in Cleveland or Buffalo NY. I mean you are sorta ok with it, but think to yourself...hmm.

Had some outstanding sushi not to long ago in......Appleton WI.. Go figure. Its was excellent! You have NO idea how uncomfortable I was parking my truck in the front of the State Farm agent, and "walking over". HFS (*oly *ucking *hit" - my dads favorite saying..besides go scratch!") sushi in a strip mall in appleton, wi. Turned out great.

Unagi my favorite...along with kimche...fatty tuna great...but got turned onto mackeral a few week ago...thought it was great...

X2 on Dao. We were there Saturday night, then headed to their bar to watch the game. The menu is mainly Sushi/seafood. Pretty good. The Drunken Snapper was fantastic. Wu's House on LaGrange Rd. has an all-you-can-eat sushi special. Well worth it.
