Made some pop tart pancakes today. Added two eggs, cinnamon, brown sugar and two ground up gingerbread pop tarts into the mix. Very good. I suspect you could adjust any pop tart flavor into it.

:gpost Now this is interesting. What a novel idea. I always liked fruit and cinnamon with pancakes. Next step would be the brown sugar, cinnamon, fruit flavored ground up Pop Tart in a waffle. :yes

But to keep it simple- how do you grind up the tart? With a orbital, horizontal or vertical grinder? Mixer? For how long? Speed? Or you you let your son or grandson, smash the heck out of the tart in a towel?They'd like that part and also the idea of making their own recipe! Next trip to the store, I'm picking up some pop tarts and I think I'll try making a waffle.

I just broke it up with my fingers then wisked it into tiny pieces into the batter. The milk softened up the pop tart into the batter.
