Salmon Unlimited Open 2019 Saturday Aug. 24th at North Point Marina.

Salmon Unlimited Open is asking everyone fishing that weekend to sign up and fish with fellow anglers for a chance promote the fishery, get to know fellow anglers and have a great time.
We have some great prizes this year. The tournament pays out big fish $1000.00 Big species $250 and top ten. There is a great Lunch and prize ceremony as well as Raffles at the beautiful Winthrop Harbor Yacht Club. The captain's bags will be stuffed with goodies from Stanley stinger flies, Warrior Spoons , Sea Quest Lures, Howies Flies, Finn spoons. Tournament shirts will be available as well.

You Can sign up on line at Salmonunlimitedinc.com or at the Winthrop Harbor Yacht club before the Captains meeting Friday night.

As of now we only have a handful of boats and without your support this might be our last Open tournament.

To ALL Fisherman (& Women),

We need participants in these events! These club organizer's put forth a lot of time and efforts to put these events on. :thanks :thanks
Where else can you put up a few buck's for a chance to win something in return?
If you're heading out to do a little fishing anyways... Why not join this Tournament and make a fun day of it? :D

Smokin' Fish will be there (baring any boat trouble - of coarse).
This Tournament gives me a chance to do some fishing with my Son-in-Laws, for a couple of days!
And, who knows, one of these Tournaments we may get lucky and net the Big Fish & Win $ 1,000.00 - while having a good time!

Come join the fun!

And Good Luck To ALL!

Smokin' Fish just signed up on-line this morning.

You can even save $ 20.00 (early-bird discount) on the cost... If you sign up ahead of time.
We need to get this Tournament over the 40 - Boat mark.

Good Luck to All,

491 views and only 10 boats have registered as of this afternoon! Remember to save $20, you need to register online by midnight Wednesday August 21st otherwise the fee goes to $140 at the Captain's meeting Friday night.

There is a $250 small boat prize for any boat under 21ft in length. The last several years, the small boat team also finished in the Top 10, which means double payout to that boat. Plus you have a chance to win up to $2,000 in big fish prizes. Not to mention the incredible lunch and raffles afterwards.

With big fishing roaming our waters, wouldn't it be nice to win some money?

I’m supposed to work on a boat for the tournament but if there are only 10 boats entered I might just enter, only have a 21 foot glass boat and wave dependent. Does the crew need to be SU members?

Thanks

Tourny is open to all. No one on boat needs to be a member.

The history of this tournament is the best part of this tournament, IMO. Fishermen joining together to save the Coho! For sure you should enter Rangerman! You never know when that big fish prize will be yours!! Last year it was won by a newcomer...just sayin'...

Ron and Steve should be in sales if they are not already. "Save the Coho" is what closed me. Have not had the time to do tournments but Im going to make sure and work hard on making this. This fishery is just to important to me and my team not to donate to keep it going. Just signed up and look forward to it.

Thanks
Steve

As of this morning 13 boats have registered online. Remember save $20 prior to Wednesday night otherwise it will be $140 at the captain's meeting. Last year we had 28 boats and in 2017 we just missed the 40 boat mark. This is a great event and a lot is learned as the top boats will be providing a recap afterwards.

Extended forecast is looking promising for those on the fence.

Definitely not salesmen...either one of us. Blue collar tradesmen that love the sport! I've learned from Steve, and I hope I've payed it forward. One thing for sure, Smokin Fish Steve and I have benefited in many ways from fishing tournaments. I'm glad you and Rangerman are in!

Ron,
You are correct... The benefits from these Tournaments out-weigh anything else, that's for sure. :D
We all continue to learn from each other.
The day you think you know it all... Is the day you may as well park the boat for good.

The better you get to know these good fisherman (and there are a ton of good fisherman) the more you'll learn.

Now up to 23 boats and I know of at least another 10 boats to register at the captain's meeting. Let's hit the 40 boat mark! 3 days left to register online.

Only 2 Day left to Save $ 20.00

If you're going to play and you have not signed up yet... Do it by Wednesday and save that $ 20.00 (Buy that winning lure or Fly) with the money you saved.

Good Luck to ALL.
