Fishing was rough. Spent first half of day looking for some Walleye. Nothing. Second half 2 small bass but list a doozy 5 pounds plus. Water temps started at 47 and the south shore surface temps topped at 60. Great day to be out. I think we need another 5 degrees of water temps for fishing to pick up.... Stay thirsty my friends

I was out there all day Sunday 4/22. Found a couple nice schools of crappie but they were not having it. Only ended up with 6 on the day and only 1 keeper released. Searched for walleye as well but no takers. Everyone I talked to said it was very slow.

Was out on the yak yesterday, 5/20. Wind was blowing hard, and I think the overall unstable weather has them tight lipped. Saw one LMB boated, but nothing else. 3 hours and not a single hit in the motorless area. Minnows, crawlers, streamers on my 9 wt, cranks, plastics -- showed them the buffet but they weren't hungry.
