Posted a message a few months back about trolling motor not working. Turns out it was the pedal. Got a new one and it's back in action. Now it won't run and says "check connection" when charged. Connection looks fine. Any ideas?

Check your main plug see if you have any corrosion on the wires.

Check and clean your battery connections. Make sure the batteries have water. Make sure they are charged. Check your fuse or breaker. Check your plug connection. Open head of trolling motor and check the fuse.

Check your wires to see if their set up as your old wiring when plugging in. Possible wiring different on new pedal.
