finally broke down and purchased an aqueon water changer. kit comes complete with faucet hook up, hose and syphon . highly recommend this product. did a about 35 percent change on my 75 start to finish in 12 minutes. another company makes the same product called the python. dont know why i didnt do this sooner.

Agreed, only way to clean a tank without hassles. I used the Python but they are very similar.

I got mine as a door prize. It's the best tool I never knew I needed. About half the time I only use it for refilling the tanks. The smaller vacuums work better for cleaning and rinsing filter media.
