So I'll admit, my catfish fishing is about as basic as it can be. I grew up fishing for Bass with some Walleye and Perch mixed in. Heading to visit my wife's family in Nebraska and heading to a place called Milford Lake. I've been there a few times, fished a couple but learned that it's a great spot for big cats up to 85 pds. My brother in law fishes but Cats aren't his specialty. We'll be on a pontoon boat this is rigged for fishing but mainly be drift fishing. I've got the equipment for the Santee rigs so hopefully that will work in my favor. Not looking for big cats, just something fun to catch. If anyone has any hints for fishing reservoir lakes or happen to have been to Milford, I'm all ears. Just looking to get my two year old his first fish and to see some fish being caught. Thanks!

There is a fine line between hunting and sitting there looking stupid
