I use wide gap mustads. I dont really know what size they are cause i bought a pack of 100 a couple years ago and can't remember. Anyway when I fish in current with cutbait it seems the fish just come up behinde it and hook themselves all the time.

Gamakatsu circle or octopus hooks will do you right. As long as it slides along their mouth and digs in at the corner when they turn away, you're good. #4 or even #6 should be OK.

I use Diatchi #5 Tournament approved Circle hooks in the IL and Fox all the time.

Diatchi also makes smaller circle hooks and catching bluegills is a blast with them because they aren't able to swallow the hook. I've used other brands because they are cheaper; however you get what you pay for.

dont we all know that senereo. :( . I usualy fish with #4 snelied hooks for anything besides panfish. i am mostlikly going to buy some circle hooks from bass pro shops next weekend(im going atvin at black river falls wisconsin this weekend :D).
