The Boys made it back to the St. Joe last night. The walleye were more cooperative than the steelhead. Twister tails and jerk baits were the baits of choice.

Water flow was up from the recent rains, but they said clarity was surprisingly good.

Already gave my dad the call that we have plenty of walleye for him when we see him for 1st gun season back in Illinois. Was back last night, water is way up, which made for a tough night in the wind and rain. Kept a few over 15 but nothing like a few days ago before the water level raised.

Good looking home cooked, personally harvested meal there. Tough to beat venison and walleye.
