Wasted about an hour throwing twister tails and 3" plastic worms doing some finesse. Thought fish was not interested feeding at all.
Decided to switch to the 6" pumpkin crawfdad on jighead and bam! The river frenzy begins. Landed some good ones in the next 20 minutes. Yes, they want to get their bellies full for the cold days ahead.


This one was pretty dark. Seems like it was bathing in oil :crazy

Nice fish. I tried with my fly rod, yesterday evening on the west branch and no luck aside except for dinks. I thought they would be more interested in fat foods so I tried Chomper worms, today, and caught some smallies.
