There was a change in the exec order starting today letting golf courses reopen for walking only, which doesn't help me being disabled but maybe other recreation like fishing might be looked at.I wouldn't mind being somewhere all by myself in my boat on the river.

I passed a few courses today and there were guys playing golf. They were walking though.

The gate to the South Rocks were open this morning but closed later, not sure if they went to lock out.

I'm hearing, and I cannot verify, that the IDNR is telling anyone on the river in a boat that they need to get off and a subsequent violation will result in a ticket.

This was in Morris and a private launch was used

Take it for what you will - hope someone can verify. I haven't heard anyone from shore being harassed yet.

Getting a lot of mixed messages, if the idnr would send out a verification it would be appreciated by a lot of sportsmen. Other states are being more informative. Wisconsin for example. Closer of Ramps and state parks in my opinion is overkill. With that being said. Large groups of fishermen need to be discouraged. Everyone stay safe.

Call the Springfield office of the DNR.When I got that ticket for one perch over limit I called and was hooked right up with a Lieutenant and he politely explained their policies to me.

I saw this and checked the IL DNR site. No such luck. Guess I'll have to get a new license online. I like the waterproof paper copies though.

No one is getting kicked off the Rivers...at least the Des Plaines. I have fished it myself this week. You an launch at Big Basin (6.00 in and 6.00 out) or Three Rivers (not sure on the fee there I dont use it).

I want to fish as much as anyone. Go fishing, get gas, snacks, supplies, just increased your chances of coming into contact. The more we quarantine, the sooner we can get past it.
