Hoping for a little direction on how to shorten a rod blank. I plan on purchasing an 8' musky blank and want to take around .5-1" off the butt section so it will fit in my travel cases and rod lockers. Has anyone done something similar? Looking for suggestions on the proper way to cut the blank without ruining it.
