Took a walk yesterday afternoon 2/4 from Oak St. Beach to End of North Ave beach pier. Water has cleaned up. 24 inch plus visibility.

Sorry, no.

Steady rain kept me away.

I go pretty much every time it is in upper 30's or warmer.

Conditions permitting....I am going tomorrow around Wabash on the river or Navy Pier is plan B.

Anyone know if the river is thawed and/or fishable? Navy Pier?

I have been able to fish Navy Pier between icebergs but I doubt that is possible on the river due
to the fence preventing visualizing gaps between bergs.

Thx

https://abc7chicago.com/weather/cams/riverwalk/

According to this cam, the river is totally thawed.

The Navy Pier cam appears to show thawed and/or broken up ice .

My work building is on the river, I'm looking at the river right now and there aren't even chunks of ice, it is 100% ice free.

Fished Wabash and Columbia yesterday...not a bite on minnows or shrimp from 10-1.

Only 1 other fisherman out. He said 1 fish was caught around Clark.

Sorry.
