Fished alone with the pup my partner was getting an injection today.Fished most of the time up in the river in various spots to stay out of the wind.Size was almost all cookie-cutter 10"ers with a couple 11's.The bite wasn't real aggressive but steady.Maybe the boats out at the mouth got into better fish but I didn't want to deal with the wind.

Wind wasn’t bad at the mouth — lake was surprisingly flat after big blow yesterday...caught two man limit in an hour and a half with a nice streak of 12” plus. Mostly 10” inches otherwise.

Fished the mouth yesterday. Windy. Fish turned on late morning. But mostly 8-9". Caught 2 at 10". Didn't see any jumbos caught.

I aggravated an old rotater injury fishing Tuesday in my left shoulder and got an injection today.I'll give it a try saturday,a little colder but 10 mph north winds shouldn't be bad.

Hi guys. I'm reading this and wondering why they wouldn't be moving into the harbors? Two years ago they were in Du Salbo thick as thieves at this time of year. Why only the river? The lake is flowing into the river,, Right?? Or is it a matter of finding moving fish? Of course the advantage comes with a boat. Just wondering?

It mostly depends where their bait goes and they follow them. The fish we are catching now at the mouth of the cal river, up in the river and the slips used to be way out at the breakwall 7 or 8 years ago.Things change and boating definitely makes the search easier.

We marked fish all over the place at 89th. They just wouldn't bite.

We were there yesterday from 11am to 3;45pm ...kept 3 limits ranging 9.5"-12" including my biggest perch yet at 14.5". Dnr was in full force at the ramps.
