Some perch limits out of South Haven too in 45 FOW. I was on a hot Black River Harbor king bite Saturday so while I had bought minnows (Hood Outdoors)and spent a very short time looking for perch my heart wasn't in it and I went back in the harbor and caught another king. The best was a thunder stick type bait slow trolled 1.9 or so SOG. As I didn't have my thunder stick box with me I used a flicker minnow silver blue was the color du jour. Took two females and have cured their skein for future steel trips. Hope the weather is calm this weekend for perch.

I was going to go out of cal park tomorrow to my way out deep water spots but I'll have to watch the news and see if the unrest is going to start up again.

Well I chickened out for tomorrow with all the protests scheduled. It really sucks that you have to be worried about your safety just to go fishing somewhere.I got a report from Buster on the Illinois tonight and he and his nephew only scraped up 10 whites monday.

The boat you spotted was likely me this morning...got bored and took a ride to see if anything was biting. Nothing at all on the graph - cruised the river into 89th St slip and back out to the break in the wall. Liberated a couple dozen minnows and headEd home ...water was 49- 50 degrees over much Of the area.

No sense going saturday it'll be muddied up after the winds today.D17 said the water was 50 so next week might bring some in unless the warm spell warms it up again.
