Hey All,

Just curious how the ice is at the northside harbors. I have fished in past years between the docks at Belmont and done alright for perch and was wondering if anybody is venturing out on the ice yet.

Last week I counted four people on Diversey when I was driving down LSD with the family. Sorry I couldn't be much more help.

I checked the Ice at Diversey Friday. There were a few big gaping cracks that were in motion. A lot of current. I did not attempt to venture out as it did not look safe to me, have not checked on it since. Plenty of safe ice west and northwest of the city.

i was on ice at diversey harbor on Sunday morning
most area about 6"ice very shinny and slippery on ice
very slow when i got there people were leaving
