I snoozed on getting the 5wt and they are sold out.
Really great rods if you want to get into glass.

$50 bucks is a great deal, but then I'd have to buy a new truck as a rod case for a one-piece. :winker

So, everybody's turning to glass. I have 2 Heddon Black Beauty rods of which I purchased when I was 15 or so (that means 55 years ago). Tell you one thing, the new rods by Orvis and whoever are ugly compared to what Heddon produced then.
It is true that the glass rods show off the fish better than graphite and they do load up slower making them easier in which to learn.
The only drawback is weight of my rods. I need not go to the gym to exercise my left arm after a few hours casting.

Yowza! One piece.....well, it wouldn't be one piece for long going through doorways.

You just need to be careful walking through doorways with them. These are not 9' rods. My 4wt is 7'1" and glass is pretty forgiving. Can't wait to put some bend in it soon. It looks like the 3wt and both 4wt rods are still on sale. Decent, smooth casting glass rod for a good price. These are great for panfish, smaller bass, and trout. Heads up for you driftless fans.
