Thanks again Marc ! Also thanks to the moderators, that on very rare occasions when a certain post got a little crazy,would step in and get the kids playing nice again. Tried another site once without logging in but things got out of hand too often.

Thank you Marc and all the others who helped make this site as special as it is. I think having the past posts of those we have made friends with, followed, and even lost is a gift that will be a great shame to lose. Maybe some day there will be a change of heart and a revival of spirit? Either way, as the title states, it was a good run...actually a great run!

Sorry for your heartache. While I haven't posted much here for quite awhile I just wanted to say thank you for creating and maintaining this site over the last two decades. I learned a lot about fishing but more importantly met some really, really good people. I still see and fish with one of them. This site also spring boarded me to another site where I met other good people and fishermen. Continue to see and fish with some of them having fun and building memories.

A chorus to a well liked song goes a little something like 'nothing, nothing lasts forever man'. Totally understand your need to take the site down. It's just really, really sad (a little water in the eyes as I type). Glad I'm off next week so I can take a stroll down memory lane in some of the forums.

Thank you Marc for all of your efforts. Please know that this site has been a great way to interact with like-minded sportsmen and many of us have built lasting friendships because of it.
I am only now getting back into fishing after years of severe health challenges, and will really miss this site.
