Thanks Marc, whoever and wherever you are! This site has been a godsend to me as I navigated my first season on the water out of Montrose, and my first time trolling. My weekend outings have been successful way beyond my expectations, and I owe that to Chitown Angler. I haven't found a comparable resource on the Carolina coast where I split my fishing time, this has been so well thought out, executed and maintained. This is a blow but fully understandable. Best of luck!

I don’t know if I can fully explain how much I enjoyed this site. I’ll never forget it. I hope to run into some of you guys on the water.

I have met so many fellow Chitown Anglers over the years here. Thanks, Marc, for keeping it going for as long as you have.

(Now I wish there’d been CTA hats or shirts or decals, so if any of us ran into each other it’d be “hey- who are you? i’m “Fishin’Imbecile” or whatever :) )

There was a decal at one time. It was yellow I think.

This site literally taught me how to catch salmon on the lake. It taught me everything. Going to miss it, and the people I've interacted with. Just wish I could continue to share info here to pay back what you all gave me....

Very sad day! I definitely credit CTA for most if not all of my Fishing and Hunting circles I belong to now! Without CTA, I likely wouldn't have met most of my closest friends!

Thanks to Marc and all of the various admins and contributors that made this site my main resource for information for over a decade! I know I'll be going through and taking a ton of screenshots of information for reference in the future!
