A pair of coyotes were chasing a buck around and came into my stand. This is the first time I have even been able to shoot at one with the bow. It was watching the buck so hard that it never saw me and my daughter. They usually never miss any movement.Image

Send that hide to Moyle Mink and they'll make you a nice pelt.

I brought it over to Cliffs Taxidermy for a hanging pelt. My oldest daughter was with me and wants it for her room. It was with a second coyote that was real dark that looked so unique. Maybe that one is next.

Heck of a yote, congrats! The only good coyote is a dead coyote! I never had a shot at one this year while in the stand but my dad arrowed one with his crossbow that I looked for but after three hours I was unsuccessful. It was in October and it ran into some THICK cover. I really wanted to find that one. We got him on camera about 2 seconds before my dad released an arrow. We know he was a goner too because we had a group of 3 coyote on camera and after that we had only two. Second one my buddy shot with his Shotgun. We had one big solo coyote running around and he shot him. I don't know how we didn't find him, we had a incredible blood trail but lost him after about 150 yards when he hit a thick creek bed. At least there are two less coyotes running the woods! Congrats again and post a picture when you get him back.
