So I'm following Earlyfisher87's lead and asking if anyone has any insight or knowledge in my hunting site at volo. I drew zone-B. It looks like it's right in the edge if a cornfield and has some good trees on it. We are only allowed to scout the area two days before the hunt so google maps is all the scouting I get for now. Thanks In advance

Burney i think volo is open everyday you can still go out there and walk the trails with some binoculars. Just show respect and dont go bush whacking all over. Been a few years since i hunted there so i don't know the rules anymore but i remember have hikers and families walking the trails on the weekend.

Last year I was lucky enough to have drawn a zone that has the hiking trail running right threw it , so I was able to do some recon as a "hiker" , but I don't see any trails anywhere near the zone I have this year . I did notice signs that wanted hikers/ walkers to stay on trails.I just don't wanna make any waves or at worst lose my hunting privileges there.
