Does anyone have a good crossbow they would recommend? Shot a friends last weekend and want to get one now. Will be hunting deer with it. Thanks!

I have the Excalibur micro and absolutely love it ! My dad also stoots one , cool thing is that if you need to put on a new string you can do it yourself without a press. Also you can decock the bow without firing a arrow , super light weight and small profile. Lots of videos on YouTube on them .

My dad just bought the Mission sub1 and loves it. The thing is a fact driver out to 100 yards. Mission has a package where you get the quiver and I believe some bolts with it. Strictly Archery in shorewood has them where you can shoot in their indoor range.

What's your budget? That determines a lot with Crossbows. Crossbows aren't my thing, I much prefer a compound but I shoot my dads here and there. Figure if I'm fit enough to pull back a bow, I don't want to make the switch.

If you can afford one, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with a Raven. I shoot an old Excalibur Phoenix.

I think I am going to budget about 500 for this. I saw in the cabelas and bass pro ads a couple that are on sale. May go out this weekend to see if I can find a nice one.

Only on a few select crossbows. Not all.
