I scratch the stock of my shotgun and was looking for a gunsmith to see what it would cost to fix it. Does anyone know of one in the area? I went to gander mountain and mega sports but they do not have a gunsmith. Thanks.

Might be the first scratch but won't be the last. Gives it character!

Guns are tools; shotguns are meant to be used afield and most likely will get beaten up throughout their lifespan. What type of shotgun is it?

Here's the story. I closed my gunsafe a while back and the screw that's on the felt padding scratched the stock if my gun. After talking with the company they asked for a quote and to send it to them. The gun is a mossberg silver reserve that was 3 months old and has never been fired. I know the value of the gun is not too much but it bothered me because it was a new gun.

On a side note take a look at the inside padding to your safe and if there are screws you may want to take the bottom ones off.

Try Gat Guns, they have a gunsmith.
