I can get 7.7 JAP Ammo,150 grain, no problem.
My Question-Does anyone know who sells this in a higher Grain?
Or Has the die's to reload to 200 or 225 grain?

I can penetrate 3/8 1018 C.R.S. Steel at 50 yard's with a 150 grain round with this old WW2 rifle.
A friend of mine picked up a late model .306 AND .308.We hope to get together and have a Gentlemen's bet who can penetrate the thickest steel.
If anyone Knows who Reloads 7.7 Jap ammo rounds, the help is appreciated,I want to win this bet and show him what a WW2 rifle can do-

Have you checked cheaperthandirt.com or gunbroker.com

If you don't live in Cook you can have it UPS to your door.

Hey Gaff, I got an Arisaka Type 99 7.7 Cal. Is that what you are using that ammo for?
If so, where do you buy it. My rifle is in great shape, I would like to shoot it some time.

Excellent, for a while they wouldn't go to Cook. It may have changed with the handgun laws

Thanks for the help,I was hoping so find someone locally on this and will check out the internet sites.
Megahurtz- When I inherited this rifle years ago,I took it into the local gun shop and had them check the Head spacing, the rifle overall, they said it will Fire. They sold me a box of the correct ammo for the rifle,I fired it away from my face into a blank target, and it has been fun from there.
I grabbed an old link for you to look at and I know the local shops can order ammo.
Norma ammo is great but at about $45.00 for 20 rounds,Hornandy is About $25.00 for 20 rounds.
I had met a guy at a gun show year's ago,he reloaded this round and in different Grain,he went from .125 to .275. I got to look and get back to the gun show's as well-

I am in the process of renecking 30.06 shells into 7.7 jap I will be loading 150 and 174 grain hornady bullets and using cci primers, all are individually processed and all powder is measured individually with a hornady digital scale. I'm will be looking to sell some after I finish. It's a a lot of work reworking these shells.
