Looking at buying the Cabela's Powderhorn Muzzleloader Scope 3x10 x40. It's on sale for $49.99 regularly $119.99. Anybody using one?

wsj's son #1 got a Cabela's scope for his 17 and it's dead on..........if it don't work to your liking they have a very good return policy, so you can't go wrong at $50.

Wow. Sounds like a great deal. Anyone know how this would compare to the Leupold scopes? I was thinking of getting a Leupold, but this price is hard to beat.

Compares to a Bushnell or Simmons. Not comparible to Leupold.

Not even close. That is like comparing a Chevy Nova to a Cadillac.

Not familiar with the Powderhorn scope. I would image that it is durable since it is for a muzzle loader, but I have been having trouble keeping my Cabelas scope, designed for a .308 to stay zeroed on a .223 AR.

Got mine mounted up a few days ago. All I have to do is pick up some sst's and Ill see how it shoots this week. Cant ice fish so might as well.
