This was my first time ever hunting at a game reserve and with a guide and dog. I had a lot of fun with my uncle and his family. All 12 birds released were shot by 3 of us. I would recommend this place and not too far of a drive right past Wisconsin border. If anyone has any other good places to try I am open to hear.

Never heard of it but it looks like it gets good reviews. What was the pricing like? Do you just pay for birds and then a guide/dog if you need one or is there a package you have to buy? It sounds like a good place and if you got 12 birds, they must have a fair amount of scratch birds around as well, which is always nice to hear. I do an annual trips with my buddies who don't really hunt to Richmond Hunt Club. We pay a bit more but they release birds all day long and I'm more about getting them shooting. I'm looking for a spot with a couple buddies who pheasant hunt and looking for a decent spot. Hunted Coon Creek a couple times and wasn't too happy with them so something just a little bit farther might work if it s nice place and reasonably priced!

Hmmm...might have to look into it. If all you pay for is the birds released and guide, it sounds like a pretty good deal. They don't have a very informative website so its tough to see the ground/cover but their are some videos on youtube I will watch a bit later at the gym today. Like I mentioned, Richmond costs an arm and a leg but they have always been good to us and I grew up hunting there with my dad and his buddy so I enjoy hunting that place once a year.

Just got back from a pheasant hunt there on Friday afternoon. Weather was nice, but a little windy. We paid for 12 birds and used a local guide there, Paul, with his 3 German Short-hairs. Fields had great cover and we got 11 of the 12 birds, but we saw more than 17 birds. We definitely need to practice on the clay birds before going there!! Birds were in great shape and 3 of the rooster were some of the biggest I ever harvested. Also had one of the dogs point a wild turkey hen, that's a first for us. Friendly staff and Al and Rick make it a pleasure to hunt there. They also had a great bird cleaning facility located within the clubhouse. It was nice to clean the birds there and then drive home. Drive was about 2 hours and road conditions were good. We will be going back again in the very near future. Just my thoughts.
