After many unsuccessful hunts, we bagged a couple of Mallards in less than ideal conditions this morning. 10 degrees, windy, and breaking ice all the way out to our spot in the marsh made these two even more rewarding.

Hard work finally paying off. Mallards wrapped in bacon, marinaded overnight in pineapple teriyaki. Some of my favorite game to eat, hopefully these aren’t the last two mallards of the season.
