Went to check out conditions yesterday. Found Freddies parking lot blocked off with
barricades and plenty of signage stating 'NO PARKING'. That goes for the subdivision
there also. Don't get towed or ticketed. That's my advice. FYI, ice was 1.5 inches but
this minor warm spell isn't going to help. Wait is on for safe ice. Don't be anxious, be safe.

that's why I like fishing in Wisconsin.........

Bars there mostly encourage parking around if they have it figuring that you'll likely come in and have a drink or bowl of chili to show your support and appreciation. After all winter is not the busy time for most places........

but I guess more restricted access is what the chain o' elite needs

Famous Freddies is closed until May 2020. I didn't post that. I'm sure the lot is closed due to insurance liability issues.
We're also going to miss out on fishing the docks from shore in the spring. I don't blame Freddies. It's that
c-y-a and law suite mentality kind of world we live in.

I wouldn't park there if you could!!! The ice along the seawall there is always SKETCHY!!! Theres times when the ice in the channel is 6 inches and over there its open water. I don't have an issue over in that area as I have private access with off street parking.
