Ralph, the kid has the Striker Climate suit. He loves it. I don't think you will be disappointed with Striker.

Thanks for the feedback yeah I was looking at getting the hard water suit or the climate suit really couldn't see a huge difference between the two look like the hard water suit has a thicker outside layer

Climate has a removable liner, Hardwater does not. Climate rated higher in warmth rating. If you have questions about Striker call The Red Rock Store. Very helpful and they will be able to properly fit you. Free shipping too. ph. 218-365-5489 redrockstore.com

Scheels has a 50% off sale on the Striker (2016 version) Predator flotation jacket. Now $99 bucks. You'll have to hurry, at this price they won't last. I received two jackets yesterday. One for the wife and son. As of last night, my buddy said they are sold out of the larger sizes, but they still have jackets up to size "large". Free shipping too. Stay safe out there!

I have owned and fished the predator suit for two seasons and in my opinion its the perfect suit. It's warm without being overly hot and very durable. The fit of the jackets are great and the ability to open the back and underarms for ventilation while walking is a great feature for milder conditions. My friend has the climate suit and my predator suit is about 30% lighter weight than his climate suit with the liner installed. If you have any specific questions feel free to pm me.

I have the SI Climate bibs and love them. You can't go wrong with them. Great piece of mind knowing they float!
