Any one ever seen or heard any thing about raider boats ?
Coleville Washington north west style heavy metal all welded boats

doing some research cant find much bad to say about them but wanted to ask here on chitown before I pulled the trigger on some 2016 boat orders
yes I said 2016 we have to plan that far ahead in this business and don't want to find out later about any ones poor not to mention bad experiences with some thing
its a big decision for a little place like us
No we are not going to quit or drop Hewes craft these boats are made in the same part of Washington state and we hope to be able to bundle boat together to help keep shipping cost down they are a very similar boats actually they are willing to offer us a few more custom options and are every bit as heavy duty as the Hewes craft may be even a little heavier comparable price or slightly less more of price is the shipping on these boats than any thing we are used to seeing here in the mid west like lund crestliner alumacract ect .
have a look at the calumet marine web site for more info if you care to but please any one that's heard any thing about these boats
post you opinion's here or if you feel more comfortable with a pm send me a pm
thanks in advance your opinion's are very important to me

Fished a 21' Raider with a 150 Honda in the Alaskan Ocean for a few years before upgrading to a 26' Hewes last year. The Raider was a nice solid seaworthy boat that would comfortably fish three or maybe four. For a 21' boat, it took the waves surprisingly well but its a bit of a rolly polly while trolling. Nice entry level boat. Here's a few pics (I couldn't pass up the bragging op 8)~ ) of the Raider and the Hewes in action.
