well class is about over one week left

I just wanted to share this with everyone that's ever wanted a little formal training on navigating these great lakes and rivers

if you're just in a 14 row boat or a 16 lund on lake Michigan a bass boat on the calumet river or a offshore boat capable of taking our friends and family
this captains training is for you !
I have thought about getting my captains license some 30 years ago and never did it because I just did not want to make fishing another job

but what I have learned since this class started is I did not know near as much as I should have to step foot into any boat on navigable water

GUYS TAKE THE CLASS SOMEDAY SOMEWHERE !!!
YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID
MY ONLY REGRET I SHOULD HAVE DONE IT YEARS AGO
ITS JUST A LOT MORE FUN WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING OR SUPPOSED TO BE DOING

I did my class with Mike 4-1/2 years ago. If your a boater on the great lakes I strongly recommend this class. As Mike said to us, you can see who is a captain on the water and who is not. I thought it was a joke untill I seen it for myself.

I cannot echo these endorsements above enough. I am taking the current class at Calumet Marine with Captain Mike. I look forward to passing my exam this Sunday! Mike presents the information so well. I actually took this class without a firm reason to "use" my license. I took it to be a better mariner. Mike puts all the information in a very easy to understand way, he is an excellent educator!

This class was AWESOME! I was in the class with Frank. Mike is a great instructor, he made all the material easy to understand. I cannot stress enough-YOU WILL BE A BETTER BOATER. A big thanks to Frank and family for hosting these classes. The morning bakery goods his Mrs. delivered were great. While there I also couldn't help but score some new copper rod set ups. Shimano Taloras and Tekotas for next year! What a great deal!
