Just came back from Sundays show, what a great time. Not two minutes after I stepped through the door I was called back because I won a door prize- a 50lb. digital scale, needle nose pliers, and line cutter combo from Cabelas-what a great start to the show! Caught a great seminar from Mike Norris about bass fishing in river systems-nice guy and very informative. Munched on roasted pecans and Cajun alligator(yum). Stopped by and picked up some more unbreakable foam weighted slip bobbers-they really are the best bobbers out there. Grabbed a Fenwick Xtra HD spinning rod that'll be used for musky for 20 bucks. Was able to talk to Honda Cat at length about a reseal job on my 63 9.9 Evinrude and was able to look at them Hewes craft boats. My goodness are they beautiful, if you would have told me to go out in lake Michigan in a 16 footer and not worry I would have looked at ya funny but after looking at that Hewes craft all my doubts were erased. It has more room in it that my old 18 ft. deep vee and is built like a truck and the design is incredible. The 20 footer is truly a dream boat and not that expensive considering all it comes with.
Truly was a great little show that has me pumped for the upcoming season, bring on the Tinley show then I will really be ready come spring!

this was my 27th year at this show
it has never been a disapointment
great seeing every one there
i think hammond parks try theur best to take care of spotsman
They take much better care of their marina than east chicago
the fish cleaning station is much better than and open sooner in the spring
thank you every one for doing a great job in hammond and all that stoped by to say hi

frank
