To answer a few questions i have been getting on the PMs

same base the big john uses
for the 950
i believe it comes with a swivel base for the traxs tech track system and the marine co heavy duty plug trolling motor plug kit (both ends )
Jeff at traxs tech bought out Vector riggers when they went under two or three years ago now he has been working on all these improvements all this time
no doubt you never really know how good a product is till you use it for a while and time answers all these questions especially the one main one
"What riggers is the best"
Yes these are expensive but they are loaded with common sense usable features
Not a bunch of fancy stuff you don't really need or will use

big heavy duty motor nicely sealed rated for up to 25lb cannon ball
super fast motor
with soft start and stop
bigger spool and HD spool clutch
military grade lighted key pad and display also nicely sealed
auto stop easily adjustable
creep buttons for small depth adjustments
auto down and up buttons
down depth memory
4' jog feature
all this in a easy to understand and use package

i cant wait to put my pair to the test

i have already pre sold some of them so at least for a while they will be in short supply
i hope to have a demo set up that guys can play with at the Hammond show later this month

I tried today Frank.
Wanted to pick up those ball hooks we talked about and take a good look. Got a little tied up in this morning, headed down as soon as I could. For some dumb-azz reason I thought you were open till 3pm????? :doh Best darn rigger I've ever seen, at a distance of 15' through the glass of a locked store front door!

Regards,
Rod

Not this time, thre wasn't much down time for playing around. Definately for next trip though.

Edit: OK, so we've played with the jig feature, and it is pretty sweet! Definately a feature to put more fish in the boat. Everything we hoped for, and then some. Plus, they're so easy to use even my old man has them pretty much figured out!
