I was wondering if anyone could let me know how the fishing is in the spillway at Shelbyville is in Sept, Oct. and November. Thinking of taking a couple days and fishing there. Any info would be appreciated!

I've never been there in the fall. I was there 2 weeks ago though and the fishing was solid. I didn't get anything really big by the spillway, but caught 100+ fish in 8 hours. Mix of bluegills, crappie, bass, drum, gar. Lot's of different stuff. Fast consistent bite the whole time. Had 1 breakoff on something pretty big. Saw big fish attacking close up near the spillway though, and had a 30+ inch musky/northern cruise right along my feet at the edge. I was fishing both side anywhere from right up at the restricted zone at the fences to halfway down towards the riprap.
