I'm told there are places to shore fish. I have driven passed it on the way to Evergreen but never stopped. Any input before 10 pm would be greatly appreciated.Stripers?, crappie, bluegill, walleye, whatever? I have minnows, crawlers, and wax worms. thanks for any help.

Public shore fishing is very limited on Bloomington. Pretty much the north shore along the spillway, and a few small coves around bridge crossings are the only public access points for shore.

I would fish the north shore along the rip rap out to the two points at each park. Hybrids school up in the deep water to chase shad on the north side all summer long. Good catfishing there also. Try the small coves and bridge crossings in spring and fall for crappie.

Thanks Bobba, for responding. It's a starting point for sure. I have heard there are spots that are less obvious along the scenic trail but I don't feel like bush whacking.
