Planning to take a trip to the Boulder Junction area next fall, specifically late September. The guys going are all bass fisherman but we will do some walleye fishing as well. With all of the water in that area its hard to decide where to stay. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can’t speak about Minocqua. We have a place in boulder junction. We’re on high lake, it’s a good musky lake, but not much else. If you stay in town you can access lots of lakes within a 20 minute drive. Lots of good bass and walleye lakes around. I would look into renting a house on some water. I can recommend some lakes, but compared to Chicagoland area. They’re all good. Mops
