Was there a month ago and it wasn't weedy at all. Now weeds have broke the surface all over a good 30 yards out. Buzzed a Zoom Horny Toad without success. Decided against a spinner bait. Tried a Texas rigged Zoom Trick Worm which also failed. The heaviest bullet weight I had in my tackle tote was 3/16 oz and I could feel that wasn't getting through the tangle. Water clarity is pretty good. I know bass are down there. I'm going to braid up and peg a 1/2-3/4 oz bullet weight to get it down through that mess. I'll try a Zoom Mag Trick Worm or a craw or creature with a bulky profile. Maybe get a reaction when it's dropping fast through the tangle. Not worried they'll notice the braid when the worm is dropping that quickly. Time will tell.

I drove by it Monday morning and drooled over the slop, but I needed to check my kayak before going on vacation next week, so I went to Saganashkee instead and got skunked. Thanks for the report.
