got out today for a couple of hours .... fished a decent size lake on the south side ..... started out slow... fishing plastics under a bobber .... after 20 minutes removed the bobber and just casting for the fish ..... that did the trick ..... started catching yellow bass and crappies... caught over 30 between the yellows and the crappies... yellows were all small .... crappies were also small but a few were close to 8 inches ..... the fish were slamming the plastic minnow bait ... very few people out just dog walkers ....

The crappie bite has been good on plastics under a slip float this past week. Good job switching it up and letting the fish dictate the presentation they want.

Gotta love finding those eyes. What a bonus. Live bait?
