Yes, amazing. I've seen the Giant Ant Hill video before... they moved tons of dirt, equivalent to making the Great Wall.

I hadn't seen the second video- Fire Ant Art... at least those pests are good for something....pretty neat decoration. Maybe it'll catch on.. people picking up littered aluminum cans, melting down and making a nice little aluminum xmas tree.... yep... sell them on ebay.....get rid of litter.. and fire ants too.

I wonder just where the fireants fit into the ecological scheme of things?? Maybe they exist to keep Texans humble... what say you dylanappollo?? :rotflmao

That's a really good idea , Bruce.  Talk about "reduce, re-use, and recycle" lol !   I do think humans could learn a thing or two about cooperation from ants though.  You ever see the vids from the amazon river of the floating ant rafts ?  It's really incredible.

They are the most worthless things on this planet. Yes even more so than mosquitoes I think. The
Buggers will wait till there are hundreds on you then all bite at once.
Each little 1/16th" monster leaves a puss filled bite that itches for days.
They make me get cold shivers and weakness with just a couple bites. When it rains they will form a"raft" and float in water. Then the bass and gills come up for an easy meal and get stung to death from the inside. And you gotta watch which puddle you jump in.
There are definitely some advantages to living in the north. And this is a big one for me.

Here's a little experiment you can do. Get you a little sewing needle and some pliers. Hold the needle with the pliers. Get you a flame and heat that needle to red hot. Now stab yourself with the needle. Now imagine that feeling multiplied by a hundred all over your leg.
