Brown or Rainbow...or Salmon? Got it on 3/4oz glow orange/white spoon, slow retrieve. I'm thinking it's a small brown.

looks like an Atlantic, not real common but they do get caught occasionally.

I too thought it was definitely a brown but I'm getting lots of mixed responses from other places too, saying this is an atlantic salmon, a few even said a rainbow. See if this photo helps. Mind you I wasn't fishing in any harbor but from a pier in northshore where no one really fishes.

It looks like a Brown, and the fact you got it from shore makes it more likely. Not much reason an Atlantic should be returning to any harbors around here. The few I have seen caught were strays out in open water.

Whatever it is, I caught one last year trolling in 100 fow, was absolutely insane reeling it in was it was going crazy
