I never made it to the Lake to cast Glow in the dark spoon this year. How many times did you cast from shore ? How about sharing the numbers of Fish you saw caught this year ? What was best Bait ? Thanks.

@Tinmare - I fished Diversey about 20 times through Sep/Oct throwing spoons and cranks. Got my first big bite in early October at about 8:30 PM. Tough season for me but the OG's were still nailing them left and right.

Beginning of September was the best for us. Seems a long time ago now that we have snow on the ground and these cold temperatures. Flicker Shads have by far been our best bait. Reef Runners also have produced, but even in darkness, the non glow Flicker Shad have worked best. Glow spoons will still get you that reaction bite at night, but when you look at the cost of baits, non glow Flicker Shads are hard to beat.

AJ wrote an article last year that Dale Bowman posted in the Sun Times. We fish out of Waukegan, but he also hooked up with fish out of Grand Haven Michigan.

He loaded the freezer with some great smoked salmon.

I went one time, and it was my first time and I had two on, landed one. Both were caught on a 3/4oz Moonshine Lures in Mongolian Beef color scheme.

I was wading off a beach near a small creek around the Kenosha area.
