Got out to the planetarium on 4/11 from 11-3. 2 hits and no fish on a powerline using fatheads and crawlers. Most guys had 1 or 0 coho. Guy next to me caught a duck lol...Heard Tuesday 4/10 was much better from the guys there that morning. Hope to get out that last week of april one more time. Looks like the weather is staying on the cold side so I think we have some more time before they move north.

This recent blast of cold rain/snow and wind might have brought some fish back - will probably try again this week and let you all know how I do.

Haven't caught a fish this Spring, out only twice couple hours each time. Gonna go throw some crank baits this afternoon. Anyone been out lately? Probably a little late now eh?

I'd recommend Johnson Pier in Waukegan. The last two days we've had limits in very shallow - as shallow as 10 feet - near the harbor. Some friends up in Racine have been fishing the mouth of the Root taking limits too. Good luck.
