was out yesterday from 3:30 to 8ish. I was one of 3 boats on the water. I'm sure the wind kept people away. Weekends are still a zoo. Parking lot was full by 10:00 AM on Sunday (or 99% full anyway).

I can confirm Billiebob5's observation. I was flying over the lake around 6:45pm -7 pm and only saw three rigs in the parking lot. Looked like some good wave action going on. I could see white caps on the water flying about 2000' above. Figured the wind and temps kept people away. ( I had a steady 50mph wind up where I was)

I'm no crappie professor but I've done OK on the crappie so far this year. I've gotten them both trolling and sitting on structure.

Out yesterday the 4th. left at 4pm and only 4 trailers in the lot. I was the only one on the North side for the last 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Water temp 80. All walleye caught were under size.

yes, small shad raps have done it for me. I think #5 size but I don't really know for sure. Perch pattern have been good, and firetiger.
