Saturday was brutal with the sun and zero wind. Fishing in the morning was OK but after 10am it got really tough. surface temp shot up to 80 and the fish didnt like that, at least for us.
Sunday was a different story. We had fish biting all day north and south pool. Best bite was in 4 ft of water with the wind. Leeches were the bait to have for smallmouths, walleye, hybrids. Crawlers and leeches on my rigs were the ticket.

I was wondering the same thing? Been putting off a trip south because of the water levels

I have a 17ft alumacraft tourney pro tiller. With a full tank of gas,2 people, both live wells full. I have 3 inches to the trolling motor and 4 inches to the cowling. Sunday I went north until the wind started to pick up and went south, good move. To be honest, Sunday the bite on the south side was darn good for everything. My client was hopping for 5 hrs.
