Has anyone had success with the Mother Triple by Roman Made? Looking to pick up a few but can"t decide on which colors. Have a look:

$435 for a single lure? If you are going to market yourself as a high-end company at least have a decent looking web-site with images that don't error out. Curious to know their profit margins.

Tackle Tour did an autopsy on a Roman Made Mother a couple years ago. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is impressive, but I could never enjoy fishing a bait like that. I get ticked when I lose a $10 spinnerbait. I'd be petrified throwing a $400 bait.

That's the most outrageous and stupid thing I've ever seen. They look like a bunch of highschool kids in art class painted them... and they want over $400? No thanks. If I wanted one I'd just carve it out of wood and have my 9 year old daughter paint it. I can't even believe there's a market for a $400 fishing lure. You can get gorgeous cranks and hand-made baits for like $20... I can get any crank I want painted(air brushed) - literally have them customized exactly how I want them... and they aren't even $20 apiece...
$400... sounds like a dumbass ploy to con rich men into thinking they need these to catch fish.

Bulldawg... were you being sarcastic when you were talking about picking up a few? You could purchase more tackle than you would use the rest of your life for the cost of 2-3 of them...

Bulldawg, I think rather than trying to choose which ones to buy, you should get them all and decide which works best. Please give us an update when you get your order in and let us all know which color works best!

I rather catch fish on the swimbaits I make myself.

Only went with four for starters(albino, us gill, rainbow and chiayu). Will report back on how they produce.

For some, angling is the lure of fishing. For others, it's the fishing of a lure.
